About Us:

The Arrow Lakes Grape Growers Society is a group of dedicated volunteers engaged in a ten year research project about the viability of a grape growing and wine producing industry in the Arrow Lakes Valley. The study includes both an extensive collection of local climate data, and scientific testing on 21 varieties of white and red wine grapes.

Once compiled, climate data and viticulture research will be available to the public for grape growing, other agriculture or other application.

In addition, the group engages in activities that promote grape growing, wine making, and wine appreciation in the region.

We are located on the Upper Arrow Lakes in the West Kootenay region of Southwest British Columbia, Canada. Our region includes the communities of Nakusp, Arrow Park, Burton, Fauquier and Edgewood.
